Adriatic Slumber Bedding is a family owned and operated specialist bedding manufacturer. We are a proud, solely South Australian owned Company with our premises located in the north of Adelaide at Dry Creek.
Since 1974 we have led the way in state-of -the-art hand made quality mattresses and ensembles. We design and manufacture our range of bedding from the latest in European design, the best of Australian materials and the best of Australian ingenuity. Our machinery is latest technology and is most sort after in the bedding manufacturing industry.
We are also suppliers of mattress and pillow case protectors, accessories and offer a wide range of Visco and Latex pillows. We cater to all styles and designs in bedding needs including custom made specialty lines and the hospitality industry.
Roko & Jan Rancic, Owner & Founders of Adriatic Slumber Bedding began back in 1974 with their first factory on Sturt Street in the City of Adelaide. It has always been Roko & Jan's dream to create high quality bedding - and with this passion and determination, they have achieved this goal. Roko migrated from Croatia to Italy where he learnt the technique of 'hand rolling', an age old art and the foundation of hand crafted mattresses. Roko personally trains his team to ensure this quality ensues. After arriving in Australia in the 1950's Roko continued to improve his mattress making skills along with the growth of technology in the manufacturing industry. Roko & Jan, local Adelaide girl, met and began their life together and in 1974 began their own business and to this day, including family, continue to bring the quality comfort mattresses into the homes of thousands of South Australians every day.
Adriatic Slumber are a competitive small business employing up to 25 staff, who have all been individually trained at our premises and have been meticulously mentored by Roko himself. Roko and his wife Janice are still actively involved in their business - along with their three children and their spouses. Both family and employees working side by side create the best of bedding in todays market.
